Hello Boxing Fans. I am Matt Falk a boxing enthusiast and aspiring boxing writer based (for now) in beautiful Winter Park, Florida. I am writing this blog to share my knowledge of the most gentleman of sports, boxing. To my chagrin due largely to MMA, boxing has been taken away from the limelight. In recent years a highly touted boxing match does not receive the proper attention it deserves. What happened to the days of Ali/Frazier or Hagler/Hearn? Those events were just as widely publicized as the Super Bowl or other major sporting events. Now, you have to pay just to see the fight. I am writing with the intention of putting boxing back into the mainstream and to put the true "Sport of Kings" back into popular culture. I will provide readers with ways that they can connect (or in some cases reconnect) with boxing. I will provide schedules of all boxing events on television that can be accessed by everyone. Plus, I will provide pre-fight predictions and post-fight analysis on every fight. In addition to informing readers on the schedule for nationally televised fights, I will provide (upon request) schedules for local fights in your area. Until further requested, I will only provide local fight schedules for the Greater Orlando area and the New York Metropolitan Area. In order to put boxing back in the public eye, an essential factor is reader contribution. Comments after all my posts are welcomed and encouraged.
